Watching a film on TV

I have a DVD film whicvh works on my laptop but not on my DVD player. Is there a lead i can buy to plug into the laptop and TV so I can watch it on the TV screen ?

The answer to your question will depend upon what type of output(s) is/are offered by your laptop. Fortunately, this page will save me a lot of typing:

Thanks Chris but that's all geek to me ... I don't know one lead from another .

This site goes into rather more detail. Importantly, when you get to 'Step 3', you'll find pictures of the various sockets, so that you can see which ones your laptop has got:

If in doubt, simply take your laptop into your local branch of Maplin, and tell them that you require a suitable lead for connecting it to a TV.
