photo card

when I insert my sd card in my laptop eror code 0x80010108 comes up can anyone help me solve this? says relating to photo gallery have googled error but not being techy person don't know how to solve. Works fine in desktop so card is not the problem. win 7 I am using thanks

At a guess, the laptop is trying to autoplay using an application that doesn't exist (or has a problem) on the laptop. Try holding down shift as you insert the card.

thanks rojash card inserts no problem screen comes up asking what I would like to do i click on view photos then this error comes up. I tried to view photos off memory stick same happens .

What format are the photos in?
When it asks you what to do, instead of choosing View Photos, choose Open folder to view files, try double-clicking one of the individual files (this is not a proposed fix, but a diagnostic step).

yes rojash that did work I could view photos through open folder and view files. thanks for help just don't know how to view pictures must have something to do with windows live gallery. It says view photos with windows live then error comes up

So the problem is with Windows Live Gallery.
I suggest that you uninstall and re-install it.

sorry to be so thick do I just uninstall windows live essentials as cannot see an option to uninstall windows photo gallery alone.

hi rojash did uninstall and reinstalled windows live gallery but still the same error comes up any other suggestions?

sorry, not familiar with Windows Live Gallery (never seen a use for a gallery, when you can do it all from Explorer). If it was me, I'd just uninstall it and forget it. Or look around for a different gallery - I believe Google Picasa is popular.
