Anyone know why the sound on my laptop has an echo.
My grandkids play on it but I can't say they are the cause.

Go into control panel - sounds and audio and make sure you don't have any weird settings in there. Things like echo and delay.

Or if you can't find anything in control panel have a look down by the clock to if if there is any audio control stuff down there (other than the standard volume icon)

Without knowing exactly which soundcard (and therefore what software) you have installed it's not possible to give precise directions.

Thanks all. Went into control panel, some wierd and wonderful things in there. But it seems to be fixed.
