Sending emails in BT Yahoo

I have a btinternet.com provider. When I try to send emails, I press the 'New' Button, then 'To' and i get a window of my contacts. However some of them are printed twice on the list and there is no way I can delete the duplicate. Help please !

Are you using a mail client such as outlook or outlook express, or the web based email?

Sometimes I go straight from my BT log on my Desktop (windows 7) or otherwise I go through Mozilla.
