I have a problem with Yahoo. I am receiving emails from many people with the subject starting 'RE:' some of the emails are from names in my address book but they have files attached that my computer can't open because it says it has viruses attached. I also get emails saying that certain files i am supposedly sending aren't being received because they are corrupted. However i am not sending the files and have never heard of the addresses that i am meant to have sent emails to. Is it all just junk that should be ignored or is it possible that somebody else is accessing my account to send viruses??

Yes, delete them all without opening them.

They're all the result of a virus that takes names/addresses from people address book and auto-sends out emails. So if its got into a friends computer that has your name in the address book it'll send the virus out pretending its coming from your address and you'll get all the bounce backs.

Unless a message starting RE: has the same subject and comes from the person you sentthat message to, then you can delete it.

If you're worried you may have the virus, run your checker or use an online virus scan.
