Cannot put photos onto cd

I have been trying to put photos onto a cd, I have 3 diff brands of cd r's, I have tried nero and roxio, each time it comes up saying to insert a blank cd. Is it the cd's that are no good or is it my cd/dvd in my tower that is no good.

When I right click on it, it says please insert a disc.

Have you written to a CD before?

Has you computer definately got a CD writer?

Some machiones can only read CDs and not create them.

Yes I have been able in the past to put photos onto cds, for some reason now it won't do it. Even when I put some of my old discs in my pc, it won't pick up and open them that's what make me wonder if its to do with the cd part in my tower. I have tried one of the discs in another pc and it will open it up.

I would suspect the CD drive is US.

Try a CD lens cleaner � if that does not work, replace the drive (they only cost about �20).
