When I attach a photo in Outlook Express it always adds it to the main body of the e-mail. How can I stop it doing this?

go to Tools>Options and select Send tab. Under Mail Setting Format, click the HTML Settings button and uncheck "send pictures and messages". Click OK - having said that I do know that this is an ongoing problem with OE which has baffled many experts.

If attached as a file or folder.....that should fix it.

Just tested it. The e-mail arrives without the photo in the body of the email, but in the sent items, it does appear in the body. Is that normal?

Just tried that method and it still inserts the photo in the main body of the e-mail.
