I have just come across a press release (dated 19 December) saying that Mozilla will no longer issue updates for Firefox 2, and suggest that everyone updates to Firefox 3.

Question 1: How does one find which version is installed on their computer?

Question 2: Is it necessary to uninstall 2 before downloading and installing version 3?

Question 3: Where are the updates found?

Many thanks.
