I had a great small and free programme on my last computer called telly prompter, you could choose you own channels and you got a list or grid view, for the life of me I can't remember where it came from, anyone help, cheers, dougie.

I use www.radiotimes.com
It's free to register and customisable to display any television and radio station in either of the views you mention.
