Wii internet

I have a mobile broadband dongle(3g) and would like to connect to the internet via a Wii console. Does anyone know how? Its not covered in the Wii manual.

In theory you could use your laptop with the 3G dongle.

Then, assuming the laptop supports wifi too, create an ad-hoc network, that the Wii can join (and have the internet forward on to the 3G).

But I'm not sure how to do that under Windows.
