Bathsheba, firewalls and anti-virus programs are notorious for *********** your pc if you install more than one. Uninstall everything apart from the one you really want.

Thanks Lil, but i'm a bit concerned now cos it appears Norton isn't very well regarded on here! x

Horses for courses Bath - if it works for you it's OK. Personally I find Norton annoying and invasive but lots of other people use it successfully.
