Webcam

Can anyone suggest a good webcam for use with Windows Vista, I want to buy it as a gift, for someone who isn't very computer savvy, so it must be easily installed, with good picture and sound clarity, I have looked at the microsoft models, but am unsure, can anyone help, there are so many out there, I am a bit stuck??? Thank you in anticipation.....

I find the Logitech ones to be good.

Ones with a glass lens are better than the standard plastic, but it's not going to make much difference if you're just using it for chatting on skype.
