Internet access problems

I have installed XP and had to reconnect my internet dial-up.

Once connected I can only see the home page, if I try to move pages or use my favourites it comes back with "page not found2. Furthermore, looking at the transfer data statistics, the modem sends out a lot of data and receives very little back.

Any ideas or assistance very welcome,

Have you actually typed any addresses into the browser bar Barmy?
If you've just installed XP there won't be any thing in Favourites.

Except preloaded MS things.
