I'll try to be breif, on desk top at present, have lap top too, also BT home hub device, used a little wireless adapter for the lap tp which broke, (the reception was not good unless you were near the hub) bought another adapter yesterday and installed disc, and one green light flashes (there are 3 in total i think) and then when i click to connect, it pops up to the effect that its been scanning, but not detected any hub (or something like that but more techinical) now it cant be the device (as it does light up) and it cant be the hub (cos its flashing away and i'm using it on the desk top? so any suggestiions as i am p***ed right off, and just seem to keep forking out. In previous times i have phoned BT broadband help line? but at something like 75p per min and i always always get someone with an accent that i just cannot understand, and they get stroppy when i ask them to keep repeating? sorry its a bit long winded but its drivin me mad, oh and i have tried all the (daft) things that you do like unpluggin it starting again etc...
