I've had a Yahoo email account for ages and always found it easy to use. That was until it made changes a few months back. Emails sent to seems to now get merged with received emails, so instead of being able to look at just sent emails and delete any you no longer want, you now have a mix of sent and received. I'm gradually getting used to it now, but prefer the previous way.

My main question is does anyone know how to list emails by sender, rather than say by date. When looking to delete, I find it much easier to group them by sender.
Thanks

You can just select the sort order- I think if you hover over the top of teh list in the sender column you get a drop down box to select the sort order.
I use yahoo and haven't ever had the problem you mention, so I'm not sure what's gone wrong in your case
Just tried to sort by sender and I can't work out how to do it now. It's one of those things I've done before without thinking- trouble is when I do then try to think I can't remember!
I use Windows Mail and Outlook, so am Not an authority on Yahoo. However, perhaps factor-fiction is able to confirm if my advice is correct.

You need to ensure that 'Conversation' is dis-abled before 'sort by sender' can be activated.

Click the gear wheel on top right of open mail page and, in the drop down menu, click 'settings' > unclick 'conversation and then 'save' . Next click 'View' at right top of your Inbox E/mails and in the drop down menu click the option which you require.

Just wanted to confirm Hansa that did what you suggested and am sorted, so many thanks. I'm so glad to have got back to what I call "normal" yahoo email rather than having "conversations enabled". I had never selected that option so have no idea how it decided to enable this by itself, but main thing is, I've got it sorted
Thanks for having up-dated me. I am delighted that I have been of help to you.

Hope we meet-up again in AB.

Hans.
