Is it normal to feel spaced out after a local anaesthetic?
Had some dental work done about an hour ago which required a fair amount of numbing. Feel strange, light headed etc....

Personally, I'm always spaced out after a local at the dentist. I usually have to go to bed and sleep it off.
It is not that uncommon, it is probably due to the effect of the adrenaline in the injection acting on your blood vessels.

No big deal.
