I never log out of this site and quite a few others but for some reason since yesterday something has changed. Every time I go to these sites I am now being asked to log in, yet I haven't changed any settings.
Help please...............

It only happens to me if I clear my cookies.
Yes, your cookies have disappeared. Are you sure you didn't do this, maybe as part of some clean-up operation...?

Quite positive Mark which is why I'm at a loss, I have definitely not done anything out of the norm.
That's happened to me a time or two lately. I think with some sites it's a security thing, after a few visits you have to sign back in again.

Yes but it's every time Robinia, it's happening on here and TFB and Genes Reunited, to name but a few....................
Try clearing your cookies.
I had this problem a while ago with another site and even though I clicked on the "keep me logged in" box, everytime I re-visited the page, I had to log back in again.
I cleared my cookies, temporary internet files, and eveything else. I'm no expert with computers, so I don't know why it worked, but it did :)
Could there be a limit on the amount of cookies stored, causing automatic deletion? Just an idea.
Are you using Internet Explorer as your Browser?. If so the following could be of interest to you.:-

I've said it before, but I wouldn't dream of closing down the computer without logging out of all the sites. Leaves your computer open to hacking if you don't.
How does that work then, boxtops?
boxtops....I know that you and I do not agree on the issue of logging out.
However, I recall that it was Chuck Fickens ( no doubt, he'll correct me if I am wrong) who said that it was safe to stay 'logged-in' providing no one else had access to the computer which was being used.

I can't find the link I would like to establish from Chuck... but this one may suffice.:-

Thanks chaps I guess I'll just have to keep logging in.................
Silly question I know, but have you ticked the "keep me logged in" box?

And I agree that clearing cookies, cache and temp files may also help.
