Back button bleep noise

When on Ebay if I want to go back a page by clicking the back arrow button, it gives one loud "Bleep" noise which is really getting on my nerves. Can anyone advise please how to switch this feature off. Many thanks!

And also happens when clicking on the back arrow on Answerbank .............

Doesn't happen to me on AB and as far as I can remember it never has. I am using FF13.
