I cannot download the latest software for Adobe Flash Player, I have uninstalled Adobe X but still cannot get X1, it appears to download and reads Finished, says you are now using Adobe, however when I try to watch a video etc it still tells me to install Adobe X1, help please, it's driving me up the wall.

You seem to be confusing Adobe Reader (which is for reading pdf files) and Adobe Flash Player (which is for playing videos on the web)
You need flash player:
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Thanks for responding so promptly Rojash however it is Adobe Flash Player X1 which will not download, I tried clicking on your link and got exactly the same result as before, Im going quietly bananas here.
Version 11.1.102.55 is the latest .. and what you should be downloading/installing.
God knows what X1 is .. never heard of it.

If you use Adobe Reader .. stick with 10 (X)
Latest version is 10.1.1

Adobe Reader is the viewing program.
Adobe Flash is a web component for flash content playback.
