I have a Nokia 6700 classic working on the O2 network. Will the card from my Nokia work in an I-phone which was also on the O2 network. I have been given the Iphone by son who has upgraded to the latest I-phone. Thanks for any advise

Should do - I've got a temporary phone at the moment, my Sony Ericcson has gone for repair and 02 have given me a Nokia - my sim works in the new one. Give it a go!
Iphone 1, 2 or 3 = yes

Iphone 4 = no

Watch out for data usage on the iphone, it can end up costing you a fortune if you are not on a data tariff.
You can get a Sim Card cutter from ebay which will make the sim fit in an iPhone 4.

As Chuck says though. Watch out for the data as the iPhone uses quite a bit. You can get an O2 iPhone sim for £15 per month with 300 mins, unlimited text and 0.5 gb data. So maybe it is worth getting a new sim from O2.

Thank you all for the advice. It was an I phone 3 so I did not need to cut the Simm Card. It almost a straight swop, I had unlimited internet access on the Nokia so the cost element was not an issue, but accessing the internet from iphone was. A quick call to O2 who said a slight tweak which he could do from his end was required to use the simm in the Iphone. One hour later up and running fully functional Iphone. No extra charge, in fact I asked if I could change tariffs to their simpicity charge. Lo and behold £10 + vat a month cheaper. Cheers the help.
Nice one Cisbo. Thanks for the feedback.
