On my new Advent Modena laptop there is a webcam. There is a little camera icon at the bottom of the desktop near where the clock and others are - but it is greyed out. Next to it is another greyed out which says wireless?

Can't open them up at all and can't find them in programmes in start.

Thanks everyone

Try holding the function [FN] key and pressing F10. This should toggle the camera on and off.

Thanks NazNomad - it was F7 actually and a little blue light appeared next to the lens at top of screen.

But how do I go on from here? The webcam icon in tray is still greyed out.
Thanks
