Has the router a 'pairing' button you need to press first?
Check the wireless device properties in Laptop .. delete them all .. reboot and look at available networks again. Connect and enter pass (which is going to be on the underside of router usually)
Check router settings from the setup html page.
Not enough info, really.
hi bronners,
ive had the same problem a few times myself,

you will need to go into IE and type in 192.168.1.254 to get the thompson speedtouch router home page up,
and youll need to do a few checks and whatnot in there, but what, im sorry i couldnt tell you.

your best bet is to just ring aol up, theyre on till 12 midnight and they will talk you through everything.
theyre really helpful and good with their instructions, and patient too!
they will get you up and running in no time.

their number is - 08444995555
