hdmi to scart adapters

I want to connect my laptop which has a hdmi coonection to a tv which doesn't have a hdmi connection but has a scart connection..I've see these hdmi to scart connectors and was wondering if anyone has actually tried one and are they any good?
prev Can I delete these DAT files?
  
next any negatives about using MS desktop gadgets?

don't think they exist sammo you not got a dvi connector on your tv that can use a hdmi connector from maplins or other

yes there is a dvi connector.. i see you can buy a male dvi connector with a femail hdmi connection built in..do you know if there any good?

would a dvi/hdmi connector play sound and dvd or just the pictures with no sound..I want a connector that can connect my laptop to my tv so i can play dvds on.
