How do you force / start a new line within a cell?

will appear like this but only if the cell is small enough and Wrap text is used. Info in other cells is more lengthy and OK wrapped.

Set wrap text to on
When you finish the first part of your typing press <Alt> + <Return>
repeat as often as required.

Wrap text is on. Regret to say Alt+Return had no effect at all.

Well it works OK for me with Excel 2003.

Works with me to on XL2003 after converting filr to 2007 - and, inexplicably now works on the 2007 version.
