Laptop Won't Conect to Internet

I use a dongle to browse the net, but recently the dongle show a good conection, but my homepage will not load, instead all i get is a blank screen and at the top it says internet not responding any ideas. thank you

Have you tried to log on to GOOGLE .COM if you can then you will have to reset your homepage in Internet Options . Failing that download and run MalwareBytes to see if you have a virus or malware infection.

Have you tried removing the dongle and put back in again?

i had similar problem with my dongle last night i tried everything but still wont work. even when it said connected to the net. i was told it was to do with the weather? but yesterday we had heavy rain and strong wind.
