On folders on my desktop, i have a border highlighting the name of the folders and files and i don't know how it got there. How do i get rid of this highlight? Thanks

Which operating system are you using (e.g. Windows XP, Windows Vista)?

There will be an option to change the way text for desktop icons is displayed, either in Control Panel or by right-clicking on the desktop, but I can't give you exact instructions without knowing your operating system.
