A week ago I was in Germany and was at an event that was filmed. That film is now a video clip that can be seen from a website. I would love to download and save it on my Laptop and also store it on a DVD so that it can be played on a DVD player connected to a TV.
My problem is that I don't know how to capture the Video clip from the internet site. Is there some software I can obtain to do this (Free if poss.) Do I need something like Nero to transfer to DVD format or again is there anything Free available that will do the job. I would be most grateful for any help that can be given. Graham51.

Freeware video player vlc media player can do this. It's very good and less 'bloatware' than media player. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
