Has anyone any useful little tricks and tips that people wouldn't know? For example someone, I think chuckfickens, said once that by holding ctrl and + or - you can enlarge or reduce the webpage you are viewing which I found cool. Are there any others?

It is easier to press Ctrl and roll the scroll wheel
There are loads, flob, I'm still learning, and most of them I find out about by accident, or by courtesy of a mate. I have never had IT training in my life and yet it's such an important part of the working day - and home life too, now.
sometimes if there is no right click menu for paste, when you are cutting and pasting, you can get it to paste by using control and V at the same time. However, this does not always work.
Press F11 and see what happens.

Press F11 again to return to normal
I always use ctrl and C for copy and ctrl and V for paste as I used to use a real computer and now use a laptop with one of those mouse pad things rather than a real mouse and I have had trouble getting used to it.
ctrl & Atl & F11 you get a full screen all the address bars go
try Ctrl & Alt and arrow :)
Why bother with Ctrl and Alt, Mr K?

F11 on its own does it.
So it does lol

F11 is cool. tamborine that scared the bejaysus out of me for a sec.
I don't have "Function" keys on my MacBook - and there is no "Delete" button either.

Well - I haven't found the delete button yet.
I don't get Tamborine's one. Which arrow key is it?
One I find useful is the 'Windows' key (2 to the left of the space bar) + M. This minimises all windows and shows the desktop.

Hopkirk, try it with the down arrow.
No luck. Never mind.

I'll try it on a different computer tomorrow.

Nice one mike.
I`ve found these to be quite useful:
Ctrl+A.....Select All.... A quick key-press selects the entire contents of an open window.
Ctrl+C....Copy.....Make copies of files, folders, text or pictures.
Ctrl+X.....Cut......Use this to move parts of a text document or picture to a different place.
Ctrl+V ....Paste...Paste files text or graphics where you want to after using Cut or Copy.
Ctrl+Esc..Display the Start menu.
Hope these help.
