I recently had to do a reinstall of windows and safari, and now whenever I'm surfing or typing, when I make a typo and hit backspace it very often decides to take me back a PAGE rather than a character which is really irritating when i'm on blogtv or something or in the middle of writing an email - it's got to the point where i'm writing emails in word and copying and pasting it over so i don't lose it because i automatically press backspace when I make a mistake. It is absolutely doing my head in as I never used to have this problem with it - is there any way I can get into safari's settings and change it to disable backspace from being a shortcut? i'm using the latest version (5.0) and already had a look in preferences but couldn't see anything.
Thanks so much!

I've sorted it out now (just in case anyone else is having problems) It appears to be a bug in the latest version of Safari so i just went on google and downloaded an older version of it and haven't had any problems with it since. All the latest plugins for flash etc work in it just fine too.
