Problems with Media Center

I have recently installed Windows 7 on my computer which included Windows Media Center sometimes this programme runs correctly and other times I receive the following message:-

"Files needed to display video are not installed or are not working correctly. Restart Windows Media Center or restart the computer"

Does anyone have the answer to this problem please
