Hi!  I bought a recording device new from elta.  It is supposed to play recorded and spoken sound as well as serve as a memory stick.  The pamphlet accompanying the item was written or translated by some-one who didn't have a very good command of English; I can't access the elta home-page; and the company does not respond to e-mail.  It has killed the batteries I've put into it.

Can any-one tell me how I am supposed to use this thing?  I haven't yet tried to use it as a digitial data memory stick, but I can't figure out how to record or listen  (there is no visible microphone; the menu is different some-times even when I follow the exact same steps.  I get a message - some-times - that a particular song (I guess:  I don't recognize the names, but they seem like song titles) is playing.  I do have ear-phones, but I don't hear any music).
