Email notifier utility for Mac OS X...

I'm looking for a Mac OS X (Tiger) email notifier (preferably free) that would sit in my desktop's menu bar and notify me - visually and/or audibly - when I receive emails in to my Hotmail and Gmail accounts. Does such a thing exist?
