My old Windows XP PC has died a death, I am awaiting delivery of a new PC with Windows 7 installed. I have previously backed up everything from the old XP onto 4 DVD disks using Nero Suite. My question is, will I be able to run the B/U discs into the new PC with the Nero prog being absent on the new PC or will I have to download Nero first ( my old version was a freeware & I'm not sure it is still available) Ron.

yes Nero free still there for down load and you will need this to unlock your back up discs
You used Nero to save the files to backup dvds. You do not need Nero to reload from dvds to new computer. All you need is the software you used to create/view the original files.
