Firefox multiple sites

Sorry about this, i originally posted it in the wrong section

At one time I got nine mini web pages on the screen, which I could click on and go straight to the site. I found this to be really handy but can no longer do it and have no idea how it happened in the first place.
I would be grateful for an answer in simple terms if that is possible.

That would have been an add-on. Either you have disabled it in Tools/Addons, or you have updated and it disappeared. Check here ... https://addons.mozill...US/firefox/addon/8879

and look at this 3D one. May suit you. Easy to try and remove.
