On opening my e-mail this evening is a warning from Paretologic about a virus attacking computers, namely ZBOT Trojan. Can anyone advise me please, or should I just ignore as phishing, and has anyone else received this e-mail.

If you happen to be using their security software (Paretologic is a genuine US company), the email may simply be something they send out to all their customers, otherwise it's likely to be a phishing mail and can be ignored. That trojan has been around for a while - the F-Secure site lists a variant discovered in Feb 2008 - so chances are it will already be known to whatever anti-malware program you are using.

Thankyou Huderon, I have Avira (the paid version) so I have done a full scan, and my computer appears to have no viruses. Thanks again.
