I have over 600 songs in my library and am constantly
worried that I could lose the lot.
Can someone please advise me how I can copy/back up the
library just in case.
I'd be grateful if you could keep any instructions very simple as
technical jargon scares me.

Thanks for any advice.

Write them to CD or DVD if your computer is able to do that.

Or you need to buy a USB memory stick. I reckon 600 songs should take about 3Gb of space. A 4Gb memory stick is about £6. A 8gb is £10.

In iTunes, choose file and from the drop down choose Library. Then do a back up.
