My monitor keeps going blank when I'm online and shows " No Signal". Sometimes the cursor and everything just stops so I have to reboot. Anyone with same problem?

next I had a corupt hard drive on my laptop and in the computer shop they got most of the data and files i use off but i have since noticed that impotant photo albums are missing that were on my desktop. He gave the broken drive back so is there any way I can
