OpenOffice 3.1 - Setting and keeping page margins

Hi.

Does anyone know how to change the page margins so that they remain the same next time OpenOffice Writer is run? Whenever I change the margins and save the text document I am working on, the margins revert back to the default the next time I open up the program.
