hi,
can anyone offer any advice please.

i have quite alot of songs stored in 'my music' on my laptop
the same songs appear in my 'itunes library' too.
now,
does that mean these music files are on twice on the laptop? - in 'my music' and in the 'itunes library'...? therefore doubling up on the space used?

thanks :o)

Nope, it just means that iTunes knows they are there. iTunes doesn't store files, it just catalogues them.
