Giggling!

Ever got the giggles at the wrong time? I had to make a phone call earlier, it was a recorded message ...
Please leave your name, home phone number, mobile number & email address! First three no problem, came to my email address & I could'nt say it without laughing! You see, it sounds a bit daft my email address! I tried to control it, but it was like one of those outakes, I even said to the tape several times... No, no,no, hang on a minute,deep breath, sorry.
My husband was in the background shouting... put the phone down!, put the phone down! You've knackered it now, they'll think you've been let out for the day!!
So, have you ever been caught in hysterics at the wrong time?

We have a Friday morning meeting quite early and I've lost count of the times that I've had a fit of giggles induced by either one on my consultants or one of the fellows... usually at some very important, indepth discussion part of the meeting. It's one of the best ways I know to win friends and influence people.

dont you think that bad timing just makes it harder to keep under control! It was my husband that was making it worse cause he was getting really irate with me! He laughed after & said theres no hope for you!
So these meetings, once one starts giggling, it's a bit infectious isn't it!! x

i once got thegiggles in church (was there with school) and laughed so much that the little door to my pew flew open and i fell into the aisle.

When someone trumps it's hysterical!

Absolutely agree with the trumping / farting bit. Anywhere, anytime, anyplace it gives me the giggles. Even if it's only a farting noise but not an actual fart - it still sets me off....

And in a church or in a serious setting - even more so.

always used to get giggles when mum said 'did you do this!!' because in my head I knew I shouldnt start giggling and needed to kepp a straight face otherwise she'd think I did do it but then because I'd thought it I;d do it anyway, so trying to say 'no I didnt' while having a big grin on face never helped, even though I hadnt done it

I once got a b0llocking at work 'cos I burst out laughing when this older lady farted.......'cos I couldn't stop laughing she burst into tears............

What often makes me giggle & can't stop is when I see someone else already in that state. Even if I don't know what the hell it is they're stifling giggles over, once i see them do it, I join in.

I love it when you see the shoulders shake as the stifling is in progress. Brilliant.

Another thing that made me laugh today was seeing loads of thumbnail pics of me cleaning a loo!! I had these big red oversized rubber gloves on that reminde me of those big Kenny Everett hands! Do you remember?

I'm likely to get a fit of the giggles at any time out of the blue , and indeed do , even at a most inappropriate times , it's one of the symptoms of MND I'm afraid , I can't help it , and do get the people around me in hysterics even though neither of us know what we're laughing at .

Unfortunately the last time I giggled inappropriately was early hours of Monday morning - I think it was sheer exhausation rather than lack of sensitivity...

Home after a 10 day sail, and with the prospect of work the next morning, I collapsed into bed. The BF was in the shower - next think I knew I turned over to come face-to-arse with his naked buttocks which he was slapping rather vigorously. I just burst out laughing at such an incongruous sight & called him a weirdo & to get into bed immediately & give me some peace.
However after that visual disturbance, I couldn't control myself for the next 15 minutes, even though I was so tired. I couldn't understand why he seemed hurt until he pouted "It was meant to be erotic..."

That just set me off with the giggles even more. That's the last time he shoves his @rse in my face & slaps himself. Hopefully...
