Email onto laptop

Could someone tell me how to get my emails onto a new laptop, and also how do I save email to the hard drive?
Please be clear with any answers, as I am not wonderful with computers!

Do you mean emails from one computer onto another?

First have some means of transferring stuff. (write CD, use memory stick, whatever)

On old PC, create a folder. Minimise folder. open email program. Highlight mails to save. Drag into minimised folder, which will open, then drop. When all done, copy folder, go to new pc, and basically reverse everything,

write all the mails into the cd and paste in to the another computer.

you can also import the mails from the one computer to the other computer.

all the computers are connected to the internet.
in the file menu click on import and import the mails .and than from the other computer you can export the mails .make sure all mails should be transferred.
