Laptop freezing.

I am running vista home premium on an Acer aspire 7720G laptop which keeps crashing. I first get a "not responding" message in the title bar of the application I am running then the screen goes an opaque/white colour with a revolving cursor. Ctrl+Alt+Del does not work and eventually after a few minutes the screen goes black and I get a dialog box which says "logon process has failed to create the the security options dialog" and a message in the center of the dialog box saying "Failure - Security Optins". I click OK on this dialog box but it just returns me to the first frozen screen and nothing will fix this except a reboot via the power off/on button. Many thanks in advance.

Did you try to start your computer with safe mode?
You need to repair your window. Boot your computer with Windows Disk, now go to recovery console. Here you can use these command:
chkdsk /r
Hope it will help you.
