I have a Linksys router with two computers on the system, but now I can't get the internet.I've replaced it with the speedtouch box that came with the computer and everything works(one comp.only) Is there any way of finding out whether the router is finished,it's just over three years old??? Thanks!!!

I'm not up on the technicalities I just use them I believe a aSpeedtouch is a modem are you saying that it is the same as a router and does the same? I have a blackbelt in ignorance!!!!
no - I'm saying ... it's not your internet connection ,,, both establish the connection (in their own way) so if one works and the other doesn't the one that doesn't is bu@@ered.

you don't say which model of speedtouch (there are 1000000s) but If you say it's a modem (generally USB?) for one PC

there are other options ... but they are "lumpy" a new router is the first (and best) option - on your way out to pick up a new router ... drop the old one in the bin.

barb1314 will tell you how to set it up ;-)
