Display has flipped 90 degrees clockwise.

While my son was playing a game on the computer here he's pressed something and now the whole display on the monitor has flipped 90 degrees clockwise, so as I write this I'm getting a sore neck. How do you rectify this situation?

hold down CTRL + ALT and use the arrow keys to get it back to normal
