downloadfing music to mp3

Have lost instructions to new mp3 player and have no idea how to get the music onto it. Whenever I plug it into the usb port of my computer, Real Player pops up, so where do I go from there. I have a music library on Limewire but have no idea how to move it to wherever. Can anyone help, I know I'm not being very explicite!

Cant you just drag and drop mp3 files onto the player?

Google the make and model of the player, go onto the maker's website and download a manual.

Does the mp3 player appear in my computer as usb mass storage device? If so double click this to open and drag n drop your mp3 files and folders in there.
