I've been trying to download flash player for some time now, as i havnt been able to access youtube or any flash based sites. Im no computer whizz but had a looked for help on the flash site and in other places but i just became more perplexed. One site said i had to enable "private headers" for adobe.com but i have no idea of how to do this. Any ideas? cheers!

Try turning your firewall off temporarily from your anti-virus program then download flash player again.

nope that doesnt help, nothing happens once i choose to download it. no icons or animations.
Flash can sometimes download but not install correctly, when you lick on download does it take you to the page where you should see the animation if it has installed correctly?

yea i do but theres usually no animation, just text. If the animation appears with a green and white progress bar it just stays there, and ive left it on, hoping it will load for hours and still nothing.
Yeah I've had this before at work a few times - uninstall flash player downloading the program on the link below and then try downloading it again and it should work, let me know!
