s-video cable - does this also carry audio ?!

this is probably a stoopid question but i want to link my pc's gfx card straight to my telly using an s-video lead.i am not sure which to buy,however.would a simple s-video to s-video connection do it or would this carry no audio ? would i have to use s-video to yellow/white/red plugs ? thx for any help

Nopp, you need seperate audio leads.

You can buy SVideo & Headphone(minijack) on one end to Scart leads - this would probably suit your needs. I wouldn't expect most high street shops to have them but some internet suppliers will.
