Water powered car

Can someone please tell me how the water powered car works, recently shown on TV news? I'm sure you can't get something for nothing so what really powers it?

Thanks Panic Button. I guess that might be the one, I just saw it briefly on TV when at my daughters on Sunday. I suggest that the hydrogen of the H2O has something to do with it but they showed it as actually powered by water. We've past April 1st so ot can't be that.

Hydrogen is the fuel of the future. It has been for a long time and I am beginning to suspect it always will be.

There is still no commercially viable efficient method of producing hydrogen. Burning fossil fuels to generate electricity to produce hydrogen is wasteful and pointless.
