I'm running spyware terminator & it keeps picking up Registry HKLM...\....\HP HealthCheck\HPHC_scheduler.exe as 'Invalid startup item' linked to non-existant file in the registry. I've run HP healthcheck & everything seems ok .Should I delete it?

is it broke?
if not ... don't try to fix it!

cleaners are fine for clearing temp files ... but never let them into your registry ... the only thing that is guaranteed to renew your registry is renewing your O/s .... andre-installing only the apps you need.

registry cleaners fall into the snake oil category (my opinion) and are about as much use as rocking horse sh*t or hen's teeth.

they talk big ... but
I've never ever ever seen any serious review of one in any PC mag (of repute) or any of the trades. which even suggest using one - never mind rating ur claiming any degree of improvement to a system
