Hi Scarlett, just insert the DVD into the compartment in the computer and wait a few seconds and the pictures will appear as if by magic.

Yes but they don't!
I did put the CD in....
Nothing happens. I tried opening it with a photo viewer- nothing.
after inserting disc go to Start + My Computer then right click on you DVD drive and choose open and see what that shows.

Also check on properties to see if there is anything on the disc

I don't have a dvd drive cos my pc is so old!
But I went to my computer, clicked on the cd drive and it seems like nothing is on there when I click on properties..
Sorry my suggestion didn`t help Scarlett.....I don`t suppose you have a DVD player so you can watch it on TV to check if there are any pictures still on it, or do you know anyone with one if you ain`t got one. I hope someone can be more helpful.
can you try it on someone else's machine?

when cd/dvd (optical drives) get old they get tired ... and can't always see burned discs (often bought ones still work - so it's confusing).

the other alternative is that you THINK you put them on but for some reson the burner didn't....
can we assume that you've viewed them in the past?

'cause a disc that shows empty often is ... or at least was ruined during burning ... even when they won't read a good disc ... the properties more often than not show a full disc.

Yay- I fixed it- by opening the photo viewer program FIRST and THEN putting in the CD. For some reason it didn't work the other way round.

Thanks so much for your helps! x
